Position: Tasting Room/Bar Manager

Top Dog Cocktails is searching for a vibrant and dedicated Tasting Room/Bar Manager to join our pack in Kennett Square. If you’re passionate about creating a community-minded experience for our guests are passionate about customer service, this is the perfect role for you! We’re looking for someone with availability Thursday through Sunday, committing to approximately 30 hours a week

Responsibilities:

– Ensure compliance with federal and state liquor laws and safe serve practices

– Welcome and greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm

– Effectively communicate distillery operations, product details, and experience options

– Answer questions about spirits and cocktails, providing an engaging and informative experience

– Inventory management and preparation of station 

– Serve cocktails and guide tastings

– Operate POS system and handle payments

– Sell our spirits, including cans, bottles, cases, and merchandise

– Demonstrate knowledge of beer, cider, wine, and brands in-house

– Maintain a clean and organized station

– Keep records related to the tasting room

– Conduct prep work for daily operations

Ideal Candidate:

– Minimum 21 years of age

– Warm, genuine, and experienced in delivering excellent customer service

– Minimum 2 years of bartending and/or bar management experience

– Strong spatial and social awareness

– Comfortable taking the lead in a small environment

– Self-motivated, driven, and takes pride in their work

– Interest in distilling, craft cocktails, agriculture, and other local independent businesses

Job Details:

– Job Type: 30 hours per week

– Pay: $20 per hour + tips

Qualifications:

– Management experience

– 2 years of customer service experience

– Previous restaurant experience
